I used to buy lots of cooked food here each time I came to Elgin but I stopped. More expensive than eating in a nice restaurant. All food is overpriced and nothing organic. For cheaper I can get better quality food somewhere else. I miss the old Fresh Market.

Only been here a couple of times due to distance, about 5 miles away . . . Went today to get stuff for Taco Tuesday! Great produce and tamales! Manager Jose Luis and Emma the Cashier are GREAT!! Emma is very helpful and friendly! Thanks to her I will now be a more frequent Customer. Keep up the GREAT work!!

Wow i was blown away by my visit to Elgin fresh market a couple of days ago..This was my first time visiting a “Hispanic “ grocery store , so I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed by the selection and different departments in the store !! There was a large display of different types of fruits and vegetables , and the deli and bakery were a special treat of their own. I got 2 pounds of seasonsed taco meat by the butcher,, very good quality and value. To top it all off, i was attended by a very nice cahsier, Monse, and she explained and offered the rewards program to me. I will definitely be returning soon !! Two thumbs up !!!

I’ve been coming here for years for the large selection of mexican food products, they always have what I need. I recently had Melanie help me at the front counter (with the elotes and juices) and she had stellar customer service. She was kind, made sure to prepare my snacks quickly and carefully, and had a very warm presence!

Makes feel like a kid in a candy store. Love the custard filled cones here as well the variety of pastries. Great place to bring the kiddos to pick something out. Fresh produce is amazing as well.
